This wedding was special to us because the groom was the son of one of our brides from last year. Blane and Jordan were high school sweethearts and were so cute together! They decided to get married in Vegas on Valentines day then have a nice reception here for all of their friends and family. The place was beautiful and we got some great photos.

The bride and groom with his parents. We shot their wedding last year in downtown Phoenix.

This last Saturday, we shot Kelly and Aaron’s wedding at Troon North Golf club in Scottsdale. Kelly was such a trooper! She had gotten food poisoning the night before and still carried herself with grace and poise. This couple and their friends and family kept us laughing most of the day and gave us some great photo ops! We also met a couple who were the videographers. They were great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a videographer. They are with Legacy Videography and you can find them at: www.legacyhdv.com/

beautiful centerpieces Mike made

We shot Jill and Mikes wedding on Sunday at the Waterfront in Tempe. What a couple! Mike actually made all the center pieces and the cake topper in his garage! I was thoroughly impressed. I kept telling him he needs to sell these designs to brides because they were just so unique and beautiful. And Jill, she was so beautiful! I loved her gown, it reminded me of old holywood glamor and of course, Jill looked amazing in it. These two are truly in love. Mike could barely keep his eyes off of Jill the whole day.

Stephens sister called us a few months ago to tell us about her friend Heather and her new baby. She wanted to do something special, so she bought a newborn session as a gift. I went out to Heather and Matts beautiful home where they showed off their new bundle Owen who was two weeks old and cute as can be! You forget how small they are at that age, they grow so quickly. Here are a few from todays session:

We had such a blast shooting with Kelly and Aaron at the Desert Botanical Gardens. They were having a beautiful exhibit of blown glass plants which provided a colorful and interesting backdrop. These two were up for just about anything! We had them jumping and hiking all over the place, all for the art! Can’t wait for their wedding Feb. 21st. They are having it at Troon North, which is a beautiful venue with lots of cool backdrops for photos.

We did Michelle and Mikes wedding last spring and fell in love with this family. Their two children, Riley and Parker, grew up a lot in since the wedding. It is amazing how much can change with a young child in just a few months!
These two were well behaved and full of energy. We had a good time with them playing and getting them comfortable in front of the camera. (In a later post, I will give a few tips on what to do for childrens portraits to get the most out of the photos)

I thought it was about time to introduce our new album line up. We have four new albums we are producing, and we will introduce two today. First, we have the Ice flush mount album. It is a sexy metallic print under a clear beveled edge acrylic. You get your choice of leathers to go on the spine and back. Shown here is the Firefly textured leather.
